I want you to know up front that I live and breathe music. The expression of my inner most feelings and how I see the world is via the music I write and play. Every time I pick up my guitar, I edge a little farther towards making really great music and recordings. I am inspired by love, strength and sometimes pure stubbornness. My music is a window into me and I intend to explore my full depth.
To me music is not only an art form, but a medium that can be used to change people's lives. I honestly believe this. I have a gift that I want to pass on to you.
Through my music and teaching via this website or one-on-one you will not only become the best guitarist you can be, but you will be put in touch with what is going on in your soul.
I hope you come along for the ride. It's going to be crazy!!
At the heart of my studio is Cakewalk Sonar 8.5 by Roland
Sonar 8.5 is a music laboratory I call it a boundless universe of editing, mixing and recording tools that makes everything you can imagine musically a reality once you know how to use it. I will never use anything but Cakewalk and now that I am becoming a master at it I intend to share all my tricks and techniques so you can also experience its wonder.
The Cakewalk V STUDIO 20 By Roland is the audio interface that made recording guitar tracks and songs a dream. It comes with Guitar Tracks software and allows me to simply plug my guitar and microphone in and start recording with flawless performance.
The V Studio 20 console comes equipped with a "COSM" microchip which is the Boss ME-70 guitar effects pedal system in software form.
When the VS 20 Editor is on the screen you can choose and adjust the effects on screen just as you would a ME 70 foot pedal. The VS 20 Interface produces astounding guitar and vocal effects for all types of music and makes songwriting fun, efficient, quick and easy so you don't have to waste time setting up when inspiration strikes.
There are many other options by Roland including the "Fire Wire" the "Octa-Capture" and even some more sophisticated software programs.
Next lets look at what brought us here and what has made me an authority on teaching, playing and recording then we will move on to the real reason we are here. Lets learn music and play the guitar.
